Publisher Ravenage Games and Developer Bureau Bravin have announced that minimalistic resource management sim Masterplan Tycoon will arrive March 9 on PC via Steam. The game will be discounted 10 percent at launch. Aspiring resource managers and real-time strategists can give it a try today via a free Steam demo. In Masterplan Tycoon, players will build interconnected production chains to deliver products to their intended destinations. Connect everything correctly to form a beautifully intricate logistics system worthy enough to hang in a museum.

Masterplan Tycoon will include more than 40 production chains, six missions, and two immense campaigns at launch. Never-before-seen features will also be introduced. A new gameplay mechanic called research will allow players to access new buildings/nodes and improve production chains and storage capacity. Additionally, a new area called the islands will allow players to transport resources by water.

Witness logistics management brought to life with Masterplan Tycoon’s release date announcement trailer:

Simple and consistent by design, Masterplan Tycoon was made with relaxation in mind. The nodes are buildings. The pins are contact points between them. The links are supply lines. Masterplan Tycoon’s minimalist visual style will allow players to focus on managing the flow of resources, with nothing else to distract them. Build a quarry next to a mountain, then build a storage facility and create a link between them. There’s plenty of room to expand production lines once players have managed the basics.

With a soothing soundtrack humming in the background, players will learn to transport resources like wood, coal, fish, iron, cement, and stone to factories for the production of steel beams, boilers, reinforced concrete, and other goods. The game will offer extraordinary depth to explore, as each resource presents a variety of challenges to solve. Players will also be able to uncover new missions within their minimaps and production chains.

Mistakes won’t be penalized. Blunders won’t lead to massive losses. The learning process will be easy, relaxed and immersive. Masterplan Tycoon will be intuitive from the get-go, but will gradually prepare players for increasingly complex challenges later on.

Masterplan Tycoon was designed with trial and error in mind. Players are encouraged to take time to think, make mistakes, and try again,” says Anton Bravin, Founder of Bureau Bravin. “Presented with a simple-to-follow, minimalist art style, it’s a game made for people who love to explore their curiosities and learn a thing or two along the way. We can’t wait to share it with the world early next year.”

Key Features:

  • Path the path wisely
    • Carefully configure supply chains. Many nodes can be difficult to connect. Move buildings and rearrange chains to make space for further development.
  • Discover new features and areas
    • Masterplan Tycoon introduces players to its core mechanics and gradually opens up the world to them. Begin with a simple two-way chain, create basic production lines, unlock missions, research new technologies, and start construction in other areas.
  • Rule the world’s supply chains
    • The ultimate goal? Colonize all available territories and create the largest logistics system the planet has ever seen. Watch out, Bezos!
  • No losers allowed
    • Players will never restart the game because of a mistake they made. Curiosity will be encouraged and rewarded. Rebuild and redirect the paths constantly to reach the goal and unlock new resources.

Masterplan Tycoon will release March 9 for $9.99 on PC via Steam. The game will be discounted 10 percent at launch. A free Steam demo is now available. To keep up to date with the latest information on the title, please follow us on Twitter, join our Discord, and wishlist the game on Steam.
