New Milestone for Outfit7’s Latest Virtual Friend Mobile Game
My Talking Angela 2, the latest release from multinational mobile gaming company, Outfit7, has achieved 100 million downloads worldwide. Launched in July 2021, the new title, which innovatively blurs the boundaries between simple simulations and virtual pets, was an immediate success, becoming the most downloaded game worldwide in July and August, according to App Annie.
And its popularity has shown no signs of slowing down. To date, players have changed Angela’s outfits over 11.5 billion times, done her makeup over 6.9 billion times, baked over 1.1 billion desserts, created more than 345 million paintings, and played the mini-games over 675 million times.
“To have achieved 100 million downloads just two months after release has been amazing,” said Xinyu Qian, CEO of Outfit7. “This success is a testament to the passion and talent of the team who created it, and the engagement and love of our fans.”
