NEOWIZ, developer and publisher of fan-favorite indie mobile games, has meow-various news for the Cats & Soup community. In celebration of New Year 2023, developers are offering players a cat-alogue of new ways to play the wildly popular Cats & Soup. From now through February 8th, players can participate in a purr-fectly fantastic in-game event, meet and greet a new feline friend, and visit the new resting facility.
During the New Year celebration set to run through February 8th, players can join a dice game to earn the special event currency called “carrots.” Carrots can be exchanged for up to forty different prizes, including the Black Bunny facility skins, a lamp, star macarons, or furniture pieces, to name a few. In addition, lucky dice rollers can also score costumes and gems.
A new event-limited cat breed is clawing its way into the game. The “Forsythia Persian” can be obtained in three ways. Players can exchange carrots for a special ticket in the event menu or use the Observatory feature or by purchasing the new limited-edition package.
Those looking for more cerebral pursuits will definitely want to check out the new resting facility with its “Watch TV” feature. Players can “cat-flix” and chill with their favorite feline while sitting on a couch, eating popcorn, and watching TV.
Lastly, the Cats & Soup in-game shop has been updated to bring some new goodies to purchase. The New Year Hanbok & Magpie Equipment Set includes colorful Hanbok costumes and a Magpie friend item. The red panda buddy in the Crane Master Red Panda will help players by automatically collecting capsules at the “Claw Machine” facility.
