NEXON Co., Ltd. (3659.TO) (“Nexon”), a worldwide leader in online and mobile games, today announced that it has acquired publishing rights for ELSWORD MOBILE (working title), a mobile game developed by KUNLUN GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL SDN BHD (“Kunlun”), in Japan.
ELSWORD MOBILE is a side-scrolling action RPG developed by Kunlun. The game features the environment from the original PC online game ELSWORD and optimizes various content including and over 400 characters, skill reinforcement system, real-time party, PvP and guild co-op modes from the original title for mobile devices.
ELSWORD MOBILE was launched in China in January 2016, globally (excluding Japan and Korea) in May 2016 and in Korea in January 2017, and the title has reached number two on Google Play’s list of top grossing games in Taiwan, and number nine on the App Store’s list of top grossing games in China.
