P.I. Cuddles Nutterbutter Licks All The Things in the Name of Justice in New Nine Noir Lives Trailer
In case you missed it, developer Silvernode Games shared a new Nine Noir Lives trailer on International Cat Day. Feline private investigator Cuddles Nutterbutter is the star of this new point-and-lick adventure, and he’s ready to litter-ally lick any object, ally, or adversary to solve the case!
A bowl of snacks? Cuddles licks it. A sentient computer? Cuddles licks that too. Another cat dressed as a milk carton? We don’t want to get repetitive, so you’ll have to watch the new Nine Noir Lives trailer and see for yourself!
The two-person team at Silvernode Games is hard at work creating a point-and-click adventure game that pays tribute to the past while curling up in its own unique niche. Not only is Nine Noir Lives inspired by adventure game classics like Grim Fandango and Broken Sword, but it also draws inspiration from the works of classic film noir, Shakespeare, and Taika Waititi. The two-person team at Silvernode Games worked hard to create a point-and-click adventure game that pays tribute to the past while curling up in its own unique niche.
Nine Noir Lives is Silvernode Games’ new adventure game starring feline detective Cuddles Nutterbutter. When a murder case in-furry-ates the Montemeeuw and Catulet families, it is up to Cuddles and his assistant Tabby Marshmallow to solve it. Along the way, players will interact with dozens of fully-voiced characters, beautifully hand-drawn scenes, and devious puzzles to answer the most important question of all: how many things need to be licked to solve a murder in this town?

Brought Up on Feline-y Charges: A charming comedy-noir storyline set in the unique and intriguing city of Meow Meow Furrington, inspired by every cat ever and with fewer cat puns than you might expurrct.

Nine Noir Lives will launch for PC and Mac via Steam and GOG on September 7, 2022. A demo is available now on Steam and GOG.
