Content Creators At Epicenter of Streetwear and Culture Teaming Up With OpTic To Grow Reach

Private Selection (PRVT Selection), a premiere retail brand for fans of rare sneakers and streetwear operated by content creator trio Scotty Norris, Larry Singleton Jr., and Ian Thomas, and the OpTic Audio Network are teaming up to grow podcast marketing and distribution for the brand. Private Conversations by Private Selection launched two months ago on YouTube, and quickly garnered more than 1.2 million views in less than 10 weeks. 

Thomas, Singleton Jr., and Norris serve as co-hosts of the podcast and have a team that makes daily content and shorts for the Private Selection YouTube channel, Tik Tok, and Instagram. Big name content creators and celebrity guests – including OpTic founder and CEO Hector “HECZ” Rodriguez – have previously appeared in Private Selection content. The trifecta opened their first retail location specializing in highly sought-after styles in 2018 and expanded into multiple locations across Texas and California.

“Our DNA is taking all of the cool things that consumers want and putting them for sale in curated experiences in-store and online. We’ve become sort of ambassadors for sneaker and streetwear culture across the world,” said Singleton Jr.

OpTic Audio Network is a new initiative by OpTic, a Texas-based esports, gaming and entertainment media company. OpTic’s vision with the offering is to help creators and personalities launch, scale, and monetize podcast and audio-specific content on their own channels. OpTic Audio Network can provide partnership and sales consulting, audience engagement tools, production resources, and collaboration opportunities to creators to grow audience reach, better engage with fans, and tap into shared marketing programs. 

Potential brands, partners, and collaborators can activate with and reach audiences across the entire OpTic Audio Network roster of shows and partnered creators, or work with individual content creators on personalized integrations. A sample of shows include The Eavesdrop, The Flycast, The OpTic Podcast, The OpTic Preshow, and Private Conversations by Private Selection.
