The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild and Studio Bean are excited to announce that they're bringing Overpass: Rhythm Roadtrip to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Series X|S, and PlayStation 4 and 5 in 2022! Made by the design genius behind Soundodger 1 + 2 and Choice Chamber, Overpass adds a unique perspective to the rhythm genre. Drive through pyramid-filled deserts, serene forests, and bustling urban environments to the beat of the warmly synthesized soundtrack from Makeup and Vanity Set. Customize your experience by taking different routes and using filters, colorful markers, and accessibility options to follow along with the music of your journey.
Here's what the director and main game designer Michael Molinari has to say about creating Overpass:
"The idea for Overpass was slowly formed from decades of staring out the window of a moving vehicle, listening to music, watching shapes go by. It's a sensation many of us have experienced, sometimes more often than we'd be able to recount. While that's largely where this all started, I really have to credit Michel Gondry's visionary music video for Star Guitar by The Chemical Brothers. To this day it's still one of the most mesmerizing displays of sights and sounds that truly captures what it's like when everything outside your window matches what you hear."
