Pacific Mall invites families to experience India’s first ever Scuba Diving in a mall – Underwater Discoveries

It was a lifetime experience for 10-year old Jasmine as she put on her scuba diving gear and was ready to take the plunge. This summer Jasmine is going to take first ever underwater Journey, learn scuba diving and experience marine life.
Jasmine is not at the sea or on a vacation, she is at Pacific Mall in Tagore Garden with her Parents enjoying her vacations and having the time of her life.
Under the professional guidance of instructors she gets set in the outfit and takes a dive in the water. The incredible array of fish life in amazing colours and sizes in clear blue waters with unbelievable visibility left her in no doubt that learning how to scuba dive was definitely on her ‘bucket list’.
Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden has always aspired to bring interesting and out of the box concepts during Summer Festivals every year. Some previous concepts on Spaceship, Pirates etc have been a major hit among the kids and keeping the momentum this year too the anticipation is high among its customers for a bigger theme and Pacific is turning no stones unturned for this.
Pacific Mall is all set to enthrall kids with a new and first ever experience of the underwater world with this year’s biggest and most exciting summer camp – ‘Underwater Discoveries’. The highlight of the event is the Huge life size Submarine created at the centre of atrium and the Scuba Diving experience the mall is giving to its customers. This is the first time that such an experience can be enjoyed at a Mall. This the first time Scuba Diving experience is brought to Delhi by Pacific in association with Andaman based Dive India who are providing specially trained instructors for the event and Speedo which is their partner for the event.
The trained professional divers will be guiding the children in a specially created scuba diving tank. The minimum age to participate in Scuba Diving is 10 years & above and age limit for Snorkeling is 5 years & above . Photo booths have been set-up to enable families to capture their precious moments. The fee to do Scuba Diving is Rs 2,000/- per son and for Snorkeling is Rs 1,500/- per person.

Our Summer Camp is popular with parents and kids alike because it gives them an opportunity to have learning and fun while enjoying their summer holidays. The different activities have been tailored to aid learning, talent development, interactive and communication skills. Additionally, such summer events allow us to maximise footfall in our Malls which in turn can aid incremental sales by upto 15%- 20%”
The mall also conducted an exclusive preview of this special summer event for 45 differently abled kids from the Capital’s ‘Chahat Special School’. ‘Chahat Special School’ is one of New Delhi’s premier institutes providing comprehensive education, vocational training and work opportunities to young people who are differently challenged.
Apart from the Scuba Diving Parents can get their kids to participate in The 4-weeks long popular Summer Workshops conducted annually by Pacific Mall and is completely free. Parents can register their children to participate in any of the activities listed in the summer program that will take place inside the specially created submarine. The camp will take kids on a fun-filled, educational and exciting journey giving the children an opportunity to indulge in any of the 16 activities like Happy craft, Mosaic Art, Tent Pitching, Aero Modelling, Puppet Making, Warli Art, Madhubani Art, Origami Art, Block printing etc.
Classes will be conducted in four batches from 12.00 noon – 7.00 pm daily. Each timeslot of the summer camp will have a different theme to enable kids to participate in and experience a range of interesting activities and topics. Parents can choose to book weekly or all workshops. The workshop will culminate with a special fashion show that will take place on a ramp specially created on top of the submarine.

Pacific Mall has been successfully conducting free Summer Camps for Kids for the past 5 years and is very popular among both parents and children alike giving the children an access to a wide range of carefully selected activities to keep them entertained and stimulated during the summer holidays. Last year around 4000 kids attended the Summer Camp at the Mall.
