PREVIEW : Giants Uprising (PC)

Giants’ uprising comes with a mission. You are in a medieval world. You can be the spark of the giant’s uprising. You’re on the run, and you can crush everything that comes in your way.

Giants uprising is a thrilling third-person game developed by Varsava game studios. Players will control Giant Rogbar as he is free from any captivity and goes on a brutal outburst. Humans held him incarcerated. He is free from the enslavement where he was looked upon as a source of entertainment for the humans. The game begins with giants fighting humans to death and humans enjoying the show. You can use combat here by punching, slamming or blocking the opponent’s attack. Kielbasa, a human, helps Rogbar to break free, and they run away, smashing all the human settlements on the way.

Their pair of Rogbar and Kielbasa is impeccable, making the tale very interesting. Kielbasa is a human fighter who is wise and kind and understands the giant. They share their struggles. Robar wants to take revenge for his suffering. He is filled with anger, wrath and lust for vengeance. Your mission is to stand up for yourself and defeat the oppressor.

The game has several levels, and you move ahead as you move further. It can feel compelling at times when you are at war with the humans as they are huge in number, and smashing each one of them can feel like a lot. Robar is in a mad rush to destroy everything, so you have to keep destroying and causing damage.

Robar has a lot of potentials and is extremely powerful. He can make fearsome stomps and punches with his athletic body, leaving behind nothing but shattered land and debris. There is a slow learning curve in the game. The music is good and can be enjoyable for many.

The story writing is pretty good, and friendship is in prime focus. The performance is poor due to the awful framerate and primitive graphics. The gameplay loop can become tiresome and repetitive with no other motive. The controls are not optimized well, and it can cause an interruption in gameplay. Since the game is still in the early access model, there is scope for improvement. If the controls and performance of the game are taken into consideration, it will be better and boost the experience.
