Psychsoftpc Announces the Availability of Super Fast Xeon Platinum Based Professional Workstations
Psychsoftpc announces that special order Professional Workstations based on two of the Intel® Xeon® Platinum 8176 28 Core 56 Thread Processors are available now. Dubbed the fastest CPU available and a component of the fastest Professional Workstations around, these two monstrous CPUs bring a staggering 112 threads of computing power to any task, not that anyone would ever actually need to use that for Graphic Design or CAD work. This would be more appropriate for Prime Number theory research or weather modeling and even those tasks are better performed by GPU computing now a days. No matter. They are available and Psychsoftpc is building Professional Workstations around them now, not three months from now, for folks who want them. Psychsoftpc has always strived to offer the latest, fastest technology as it becomes available. So designing a machine around these massive CPUs is a natural. These machines will be special order and customers can expect to pay a high price for them. Each CPU alone costs $10,000. Psychsoftpc will not mislead people by saying that such workstations “start at under $2500”, that’s not the Jedi way. They will say that these machines will be priced considerably lower than the competition in keeping with their track record of offering the best technology at lower prices, often beating the competition by $2000 to $5000 on comparable machines. Each special order Psyborg Extreme Professional Xeon Platinum Workstation will come with at least one NVidia Quadro P5000 Professional Workstation Graphics Card made by PNY, which are standard in the Psychsoftpc Master Professional Workstation with the Intel Core i9 7900X 10 Core 20 thread CPU. Of course Psychsoftpc will use their standard 1600 Watt Power Supply in these Workstations and have plenty of cooling in the supertower Cooler Master Case. Each of these machines can be configured with up to 2TB of RAM for those memory intensive tasks and have multiple 10 TB SATA hard drives installed.
So if folks are looking for bragging rights or feel the need for speed and want the fastest personal computer around (for now, there will always be a faster machine) or maybe have a legitimate need for such a machine at their desk or just want to spend an inordinately obscene amount of money on a computer to play video games in Virtual Reality (these folks would be better off looking at one of the many Psychsoftpc Virtual Reality Ready Gaming Computers), they can still look to Psychsoftpc first.
As stated, these machines will be special order by request only. All Psychsoftpc computers and professional workstations are build to order, but these machines will not be available in the Psychsoftpc on line shop. Psychsoftpc is an artisanal computer company, meaning they hand craft all of their machines and subscribe to a Just In Time philosophy. They are constantly evolving their machines with the very latest technology and are often the first to put out machines that take advantage of the latest tech because they don’t stock parts or pre-build machines which have to moved before they can use the most advanced technology in their machines.
