Publisher Neon Doctrine Advances Southeast Asian Presence By Entering Into A Strategic Partnership With Playerium

Neon Doctrine — a leading Southeast Asian game publisher of popular indie titles such as Yuppie Psycho, The Legend of Tianding, Lamentum, and the acclaimed SIMULACRA series — has entered into a strategic partnership ahead of Game Developers Conference 2023 with world class development and production studio Playerium.

Contributing to numerous acclaimed titles such as Astral Chain, Death Stranding, Destiny 2, Monster Hunter World, and Resident Evil Village, Playerium brings considerable experience to the table, with both companies set to leverage each other’s mutual strengths to provide enhanced options and complete publishing, development, and production solutions to creators and studios around the world.

Playerium founder Solomon Temowo joins Neon Doctrine as co-founder and Chief Development Officer, charged with leading and scaling the groups development and production capabilities and services.

“When I founded Playerium, my purpose was to create a studio that provided a high but sustainable bar of development and production for the industry and ourselves. If you look at our contributions to date, I feel we’ve delivered on that and then some,” said Solomon Temowo, co-founder and Chief Development Officer of Neon Doctrine. “Meeting Neon Doctrine was a happy accident, and over time, through discussions and collaborations, it became clear to me that we had an organic coalescence of ambition. We naturally complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and this partnership will have an exponential effect on the positive impact we bring to our partners and to the industry.”

Iain Garner, Neon Doctrine’s CEO, had this to add:

“For the last 8 years, Neon Doctrine has been working with creatives from around the world to bring incredible content to the gaming community. During this time we have strived to be a positive force in the games industry, offering fair and transparent deals with our partners with a focus on PC and Switch titles. Our partnership with Playerium and the expertise of Solomon Temowo enables us to offer robust co-development support to our partners, meaning our titles are launching on more platforms with more features than ever before. On a personal level, I am incredibly proud to see the Neon Doctrine team growing and accomplishing things that 18 months ago would have seemed impossible.”

As a sponsor of the Media Indie Exchange, several Neon Doctrine titles will be featured at this year’s Game Developers Conference via The MIX Onsite Spring 2023 Showcase on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Terra Gallery & Event Venue in San Francisco, CA.

Neon Doctrine most recently released its award-winning PC title The Legend of Tianding on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and iOS. The publisher will soon launch stealth platformer The Library of Babel on April 7, 2023, for Windows PC & Mac, Xbox One and Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, and Nintendo Switch.
