ABOUT THIS GAME

We are two best friends that share a love for the MMORPG and roguelike genres, so we combined the two by taking the best parts from each.

The realm of the Mad God and the original Zelda games served as inspiration for the online dungeon crawler known as Mythic. Learn about a world that is filled with riddles, foes, bosses, and treasure. To hunt down the gods, team up with other heroes, or go it alone and be the first to explore unexplored terrain. Get Mythic.

ROGUELIKE ELEMENTS

  • Live. Perish. Repeat. Be prepared for difficult combat and gameplay that will result in many painful deaths.
  • lots of Roguelites. In Mythic, each elemental biome is intended to be a standalone roguelite. If you die, the biome you are now exploring will start over for you.
  • Zero Permadeath. To access new features and locations, complete a biome. Even if you pass away, completed biomes remain finished.
REVIEW : Mythic (PC)

At least Mythic is worth the entrance fee. It attempts to do something novel, and the result is uneven in some spots, but it excels at what it does well. Mythic will appeal to those who respect spontaneity and unpolished inventiveness. Another thing to consider is that it is what spirit souls are like. I discovered through playing Darksouls that the most challenging aspect of the game is actually its most concentrated aggravating difficulty. Instead of understanding the task’s significance at the time, I sought to avoid it. I miss the early difficulties in the game and wish that I had enjoyed it more while I had it because I played it endlessly and completed every task. Mythic can benefit from learning the same lesson. Although there are some differences because exploring presents more of a challenge than battle does, the fundamentals remain the same. You will have a lot more fun than if you just try to patiently suffer through the frustrating bits until you get beyond them if you try to overcome the challenge of tiresome mazes and construct your build-and-play style around effectively exploring.
