Railway Empires runs very well on PC as well as the consoles. Loading times are very short and visuals are stunning for a sim game. You can see people walking around the cities. Audio is very well done and soundtrack features American music from that era. The voice acting is spot on too with right amount of humor to keep you chilling during long sim sessions.

Not all is hunky dory though, some events occur at random and disrupt the flow of the game, like train carrying different cargo instead of what you assigned to it. Trains also break down frequently and citizens becoming unhappy for no apparent reason. Plus, the menus provide a lot of information which are not laid out very well.
