REVIEW : THE JACKBOX PARTY PACK 7 (XBOX Series X)

So people have been enjoying this party pack series for 6 years now and each year many wait for the new release. What’s more interesting is that you don’t need 8 controllers to play this game with your family or you hey don’t have to buy it 8 times. Only one of the members should have this game and the rest can join the game using their mobiles by going on jackbox’s website and have tons of fun. Since each party pack contains several games we’ll be going through each one in this year’s pack.

REVIEW : THE JACKBOX PARTY PACK 7 (XBOX Series X)

The pack starts with a game called Quiplash 3 and if you have played any one of jack box games you must have played this game. In this game, every player will get prompts with blanks to fill to make the funniest or most clever answer as you can. The game will give the same prompt to 2 players so in the end, everyone will vote which answer was funniest and the player with the most points at the end of the game wins. What makes this game more interesting is that you can make your prompts and even use prompts made by other players so you can always get new prompts. The game has a cool art style that will attack most of the player’s attention.

The next game in the series is devils and Details and in this game, each person is on a team of devils trying to do every day human life tasks to fit in. so what happens is each player will a list of chores on their screens and they have to play some mini-games to complete the chores and score points for the family. Also, some tasks need to be completed with other players. Contrary to that there are some individual tasks which will give you points and not to the family and you have to do this without getting caught. This game feels boring at times as some of the chores are too tiring and tedious.

The next game in the pack is a drawing based game named champ up. This game is quite fun and interesting in this game each player draws a champ to find other players’ champion and then you will get to create another champion to fight another player. The game gives random situations to everyone left and they have to vote who will win in this situation and in later rounds you can tag in your previous champions which is awesome. And the sound effects of this game are just great and so fitting.

The next game is the talking point. This game is not for competition but more for fun and I think you will need the right player to enjoy this game completely. In this game each player has to give a speech and another person will act as your assistant by choosing what words you will read and what pictures will go with your presentation. In the end, everyone can like or dislike your speech and this will determine how many points you get.

REVIEW : THE JACKBOX PARTY PACK 7 (XBOX Series X)

The last game in this year’s pack is called Blather Round and it’s more like charades in this game each player will choose a player word out of three and it could be a person, place, or thing and when it’s their turn they will form a sentence with a very limited amount of words which acts as a hint for other players to guess what the word is. It’s the first time the party pack has included such a game so it’s a fun and unique experience.
