SUMO APPOINTS BASTION

The Sumo Group has announced the appointment of Bastion to handle industry communications for The Sumo Group and Sumo Digital.

“As we continue to grow, our narrative is becoming more complex, with multiple stories emerging from within the group on a regular basis. Bastion has the capacity, bandwidth and connections to help us make the most of the stories that we have to tell, and ensure that there is a greater understanding of our objectives and achievements within the industry and beyond,” commented Carl Cavers, CEO of the Sumo Group.

A major focus for Bastion will be to highlight the individual achievements and team initiatives throughout the company and shine a light on the Sumo studios around the country. “Whilst we are headquartered in Sheffield, Sumo Digital has studios across the UK and in India, each with their own culture and specific capabilities. We need to build awareness of this in our communications so that game makers, wherever they are, know that Sumo could be the perfect home for them as their next career step,” commented Gary Dunn, Managing Director of Sumo Digital.
