Wage War Across the Universe on Mobile

Snowprint Studios is proud to announce that Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is live for players on the App Store, Google Play and the Galaxy Store. Players worldwide can now join the over 200,000 fans that have pre-registered to wage war in the future.

Tactical battlefield gameplay is at the heart of Tacticus. With its richly detailed tactical game, played out as intense fast-paced skirmishes in PvE campaigns, tightly competitive Live PvP battles, and massively collaborative guild boss fights, the Tacticus tactical battlefield offering is unique in the mobile Warhammer 40,000 universe.

Snowprint Studios have been tailoring and perfecting tactical gameplay for mobile gaming over many years with titles such as Legends of Solgard and Rivengard. Bringing the true breadth of the Warhammer 40,000 universe onto mobile has remained a passionate quest for the Snowprint team. And with Tacticus, the pre-launch reaction has been very positive with an average user review rating of 4.5 during the pre-launch phases.

Snowprint has worked closely with renowned Warhammer scribe Matt Forbeck to develop the campaign narrative for Tacticus. They believe that fans will be happy to see the broad list of factions playable from launch with more to come in the future.

Here is the list of factions available at launch:

  • Ultramarines
  • Death Guard
  • Astra Militarum
  • Black Legion
  • Orks
  • Black Templars
  • Adeptas Soroitas
  • Necrons

Reflecting our passion for the Warhammer IP, a ‘Hobby Hub’ has been placed front and center on the main screen” said Wilhelm Osterberg, Game Director. “This allows us to highlight what is happening in the broader Warhammer Universe right in the game. Tacticus will appeal to both current Warhammer fans and help those new to the IP to appreciate the full range and breadth of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.”
