The Nomadic Survival MMO’s biggest update of the year delivers new quests, loot sites, the new Ancient City Map and Silur Walker, and much more!
]Independent developers, Donkey Crew, announced the launch of their second themed update today, following in the footsteps of its fiery predecessor, the Volcanic Update. The Commerce Update, available now in Last Oasis, is the most ambitious addition the Nomadic Survival MMO has seen since it launched into Steam Early Access earlier this year.
Flots can buy a Nomad just about anything in Last Oasis. Food, shelter, armour, deadly weapons and manpower. Jingling, they are poured from hand to hand, and most often both parties are happy with the transaction. But it takes some special skill to strike a profitable bargain.
The Commerce Update focuses largely on trade, but also promises players a slew of new improvements and fixes to further enhance their nomadic lifestyles. Commerce Update – Key Features
- Ancient City Map – a brand new map for Nomads to explore, featuring new loot sites, new rupu camps, and more.
- Wandering Merchants – new wandering merchants can be found, even in the most unexpected places, with unique trade orders.
- Trading Station Flotilla Quests – a new source of Flots for nomads who fulfill requests from the Flotilla, like hunting dangerous wildlife and transporting goods.
- Trading Station Flotilla Auctions – allows bidding against other nomads on weapons, tools, tablets, and other goods of various quantities and value.
- Global Flots Vault – the Global Flots Vault allows nomads to claim acquired money from any trading station.
- Trade Order Migration – allows automatic order migration to other trading stations when a map burns.
- Silur Walker – a new Walker that allows Nomads to pack and transport heavily defended stone bases.

Last Oasis is set on a devolved, post-apocalyptic future Earth, where a cataclysmic event has plunged the planet into two uninhabitable environments: ice and desert. One strip of habitable land remains, moving slowly as the Earth rotates around the sun. The remnants of humanity survive only by sending unwilling Nomads into the passing oases to face warring clans and gather the necessary resources to keep moving. Not many return alive.
