The House Flipper April Fool’s Update takes you on a trip down memory lane – discover a tropical island filled with glistening treasures which might be familiar to some of you. Collect all the mysterious balls said to have ties with fantastic dragons and flip a house that once belonged to a turtle-shelled master of martial arts!

Frozen District has once again decided to surprise us with an annual update – they’ve just released a brand-new house to flip that strangely resembles one of the most iconic homes in the history of anime. Those whose memories date back to the 90s might notice numerous easter eggs, including seven orange-tinted spheres scattered around the island by the pesky developers. Some of them are harder to find than others, but we’re sure you’ll be able to gather the whole collection. Once you do… Well, we won’t spoil the surprise. See for yourselves by starting the hunt right now!

If you’re reading this, you’re probably well aware of House Flipper. Still, for those of you who’ve clicked on this article without any reason whatsoever, House Flipper is a best-selling game about renovating properties. It gives the player a unique chance to become a one-person makeover crew and take care of neglected fixer-uppers.

The developers also released patch notes:

– Brand-new “Turtle House” for all your training needs.
– New items: sliding doors, options for narrow bathroom and living room doors, Tortoise pouf and sofa, Glen hanging corner cabinet, sunglasses, and two easels. We got carried away (sorry not sorry).
– Stairs’ sides can now be painted black. Or any other color. Or left unpainted for a “retro-House Flipper” look.
– We’ve eliminated a space-time anomaly that caused the clocks to display the wrong time. Einstein-senpai, notice us. 🙁
– Items may now be hung from other ceiling-like structures, e.g., window recesses. Painting ceilings is still impossible, though – please don’t hate us.
– We’ve added more ads to the TV, so it feels more like the real thing. Commercials are still in progress, though.
– V-sync and the FPS limiter are now divorced. The word is that V-sync cheated on the FPS limiter. So not cool.
– Strafing stuttering should no longer be a problem. Yay, us!
– Glass shards are visible once again. A bit less yay, but still – yay, us!
– The paranormal activities in the Halloween house can now be disabled. Rejoice, all scaredy-cats out there!
– Now, you can check your order progress on the note displayed on the map. There’s not much to add here, so we’ll just skip this one.
