Pre-Orders Open for The Tale of Bistun — an Action-Adventure Game Based on Classic 12th Century Persian Literature
Digital pre-orders are now available for the Windows PC and Xbox console versions of The Tale of Bistun, a gorgeous action-adventure title where myth and magic are alive and well. Based on the 12th-century Persian epic, “Khosrow and Shirin”, The Tale of Bistun releases on July 13, 2022.
Polish games publisher IMGN.PRO and Iranian-founded developer Black Cube Games are thrilled to invite players into this modern re-telling of the classic Persian romance.
The Tale of Bistun follows an amnesiac stone-carver on his journey up the slopes of the intimidating Mount Bistun. He’ll have to battle legions of monstrous foes using fast-paced, melee combat and powerful magical abilities as he explores the real world and the mysterious place of forgotten memories, known as the Revelations Realm, in search of answers. All the while, a mysterious voice encourages him to keep going, recounting his every step and keeping close tabs on his quest through these beautiful but blight-infested lands.

Pre-orders for The Tale of Bistun are now open for Windows PC via the Epic Game Store, GOG, The Humble Store, and Nuuvem with up to 20% off in pre-order discounts. The game will also release for Windows PC via Steam. Pre-orders are available for the Xbox One and Series S|X versions of the game through ID@Xbox. The Tale of Bistun releases onJuly 13, 2022, and retails for 17.99 USD.
