Frost & Sullivan India Digital Transformation Awards 2017 has recognized Vodafone Business Services as Enterprise Telecom Service Provider of the Year – SMB Segment (second year in a row) and M-Pesa as the Telecom Mobile Wallet of the Year.

Vodafone M-Pesa wins Telecom Mobile Wallet of the Year Award
M-Pesa is a digital wallet service from Vodafone that offers money transfer, bills payments, merchant payments and business solutions. It caters to all segments of the society, from the unbanked to the under banked to net-savvy and evolved customers. Offering convenience, worry-free and secure mode of payment, M-Pesa is actively used as a wallet for all utilities, food, travel and entertainment. Vodafone also introduced ‘M-Pesa Pay’, a digital payment solution for merchants and retailers to receive cashless payments from customers. In India, Vodafone M-Pesa is the largest banking correspondent in the country with over 140K outlets servicing 16 million customers. With the advantage of its global expertise and knowledge of local markets, Vodafone M-Pesa has been instrumental in enabling financial inclusion and m-commerce.
