Get ready to roar and rumble in a dinosaur free-for-all for the ages! Studio Wildcard has announced that ARK: The Survival Of The Fittest is now available as a free update for Xbox and PlayStation versions of ARK: Survival Evolved. This beloved battle royale mode for ARK pits up to 60 players against each other in a fast-paced, action-packed struggle for survival. Players and their Dinosaur Armies are actively pushed into conflict all across the ARK island, leading to a climactic confrontation of Cretaceous capacity!
Originally beta-launched in 2016, the redesigned and rebuilt ARK: The Survival Of The Fittest is the only battle royale focused on large-scale creature-army confrontations, combined with a Real Time Strategy (RTS) overlay, for unique experiences in every match. Survivors will assemble dinosaur armies and duke it out in epic dino-battles until one tribe is left standing victorious.
Studio Wildcard announced this week the winner of its community creature contest: Rhyniognatha! It is an extinct genus of arthropod which is considered by many as the oldest insect known. It lived 35 million years before the first amphibians. The Wildcard creature design team will soon start work on Rhyniognatha and it will appear in ARK: Survival Evolved later this year. Next month Studio Wildcard will also reveal the development ARK Roadmap for the game.
