WUD and Hughes Global Education to offer Online Executive Education Programs in Design Thinking & Artificial Intelligence to Global Corporates
World University of Design, a UGC recognized university and India’s first and only University dedicated to education in the creative domain has become known for its new-age design programs for various industry verticals. Opening a new vertical in online Executive Education, WUD signed a Memorandum of understanding with Hughes Global Education to start offering short-term programs in emerging areas of Design Thinking, Design Management and Innovation as applied to Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies. The US based Hughes Global Education has been the market leader in technology led delivery of Executive Education in India for nearly two decades with an alumnus of 30,000+ professionals from leading Indian and Multinational Corporate houses, in India and South Asia.
Speaking at this opportunity Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Vice chancellor, World University of Design said, “We are especially proud as with this agreement WUD has joined the select list of B-Schools like IIMs, IIFT and XLRI, all of whom have tied up with Hughes Global as their trusted partner in executive education. WUD and Hughes plan to create a series of cutting-edge programs in multitude of disciplines to be delivered world-wide through the Hughes Interactive Onsite Learning Platform. The first such program being launched is ‘Design Thinking and Artificial Intelligence’. These programs will be taught by experts in the art from both academia and Industry. They can be easily blended in the current curriculum and learners access them directly from their device.”
The launch of this new program in Design Thinking and AI is a natural progression for WUD which has been breaking new ground in finding new opportunities for design to add definitive value in adoption of new technologies like AI, IoT, Machine Learning etc. Just a month ago WUD had announced the opening of AI Innovation Hub – a platform to work on AI challenges from a strategic, design and innovation standpoint as well as with a perspective on education and people development. The new executive program will add to the perspective vision.
