Dallas Empire: The Call of Duty League is Coming to Dallas
Following the announcement last week that the inaugural Call of Duty League season will officially launch January 24-26, 2020, today the League released the full 2020 schedule! The schedule features 22 Home Series, plus Mid-Season and Championship Weekends.
The Dallas Empire, one of 12 teams competing in the League’s inaugural season, will host two Home Series during the season. The first Home Series event will be held March 28-29, with the Dallas Empire hosting the Chicago Huntsmen, the Florida Mutineers, the Minnesota Røkkr, the Seattle Surge, and the Toronto Ultra. The second home weekend event will be held July 4-5, with visiting teams including the Atlanta FaZe, the Florida Mutineers, the Los Angeles Guerillas, the Minnesota Røkkr, the New York Subliners, OpTic Gaming Los Angeles, and the Paris Legion.
Both Dallas Empire weekends will also include the Challengers Tournament, an open bracket tournament that allows the best local amateur Call of Duty teams to compete against teams from around the world in front of the same fans as the pros. Tickets for the March weekend event will go on sale to the public in early December. Venues, ticket sale date and time, and tournament details will be announced at a later date.
