Digital Dragons announces further speakers

Kraków Technology Park, the organizing party behind Digital Dragons 2017 conference, taking place in Kraków, Poland on May 22-23, once again surprised us with the names of the invited speakers. Rami Ismail, co-founder of the independent Danish development studio Vlambeer – known for such games as Nuclear Throne, GUN TIME and Serious Sam: The Random Encounter; Peter Vesti Frendrup, Senior Level Designer at DICE, and industry veteran Hirokazu Yasuhara, will share their thoughts and advices during this year’s edition of the meeting, which is the largest B2B event for professionals in the video game industry in Central Europe.

Rami Ismail is an avid opponent of game cloning, for whom sharing knowledge openly and constantly searching for inspiration in non-obvious places is the cornerstone of independent development. He already has had talkes on various topics at many gaming events all around the world, and needs no introduction around the indie development scene.

Hirokazu Yasuhara, is a video game designer, who has been connected with the gaming industry for many years and has worked with such giants as Sega, Naughty Dog and Nintendo. His accomplishments include such classics as Sonic the Hedgehog, Jak and Daxter, and Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. Since 2016, Yasuhara has been working with the Education team of Unity Technology Japan to create game-design educational materials.

Peter Vesti Frendrup, who was responsible for such hits as Far Cry 4, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, the single player mode in Battlefield 1 or the recently released “They Shall Not Pass” DLC to the game, can tell you a lot about the process of designing a game in a large development team. All three are joining such industry legends as Brenda and John Romero, Sam Lake, Daniel Varva, Brian Upton, James Ohlen or Scott Humpries on the all-star list of Digital Dragons confirmed speakers. They will be accompanied by local industry specialists yielding from the top Polish game production studios. In total, there’s over 100 hours of lectures and presentations in the summit’s extensive programme.

More Digital Dragons talks and guests will be announced as we get closer to May 22. Registering for the conference before March 31 grants attendees a substantial early bird discount. More about Digital Dragons and its vast programme offering: http://digitaldragons.pl
