For a Limited Time, Venom Unleashes the Power of the Symbiote in Marvel Heroes Omega on Consoles
Last week, VENOMVERSE #1 kicked off one of the biggest symbiote events in the history of Marvel comics. To honor the occasion, Gazillion proudly introduces playable Venom to Marvel Heroes Omega on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One®—but for a limited time!
Now through Thursday, Sept. 28, the Lethal Protector brings his own brand of anti-heroism to consoles as the game’s 42nd playable character. He’s only available through the “Marvel Heroes Omega Venom Pack,” which can be purchased in the PlayStation®Store and Xbox® Marketplace. The pack includes Venom, two XP boosts, two Marvelous Loot Boxes, and an alternate suit representing another popular symbiote persona for Eddie Brock: Anti-Venom!
Marvel Heroes, also known as Marvel Heroes 2016 and Marvel Heroes Omega, is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online action role-playing video game developed by Gazillion Entertainment and Secret Identity Studios. Characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, Deadpool and Wolverine serve as characters that players can unlock in the game. Players who pre-purchased a game pack received early access to the game on May 29, 2013. The game was officially launched on June 4, 2013, on Microsoft Windows. An OS X version is planned to follow post-launch, and in November 2014 was in an open beta. The game was renamed to Marvel Heroes 2015 on June 4, 2014. The game was rebranded in January 2016 to Marvel Heroes 2016.
On April 5, 2017, a console version was announced that is in production for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One that is branded as a free-to-play game under the title Marvel Heroes Omega. This version was released on June 30, 2017.
