This game is an updated version of OMG Z by Laughing Jackal including all new levels, features like touch controls and additional zombie classes. The Vita exclusive follows the same path as original i.e. creating chains of exploding zombies to clear levels.

This game reintroduces us to the city of Redfield and horde of zombies that have the habit of exploding. This is not an entirely zombie centered game as the makers have added a puzzle element to approach the genre differently. This puzzle elements is made considering the factors like class and enemy density with main aim to create the longest possible chain of zombies.

This game is purely based on the mind of the player as he or she is the one who decides which zombie is to be shot to create longest chain. Randomly tapping any zombie won’t work , instead a proper strategy would be needed to advance in the game. More over as all the levels are not same, the strategy to be adopted would depend upon the mindset of the player. Also the time is the key element which should be kept in mind while playing the game.

There is a set of classes each of which is different from the other. Civilian, bloated, cop, soldier, bilious, mortar, runner and zapper are few to name. The cop and soldier classes are best according to me because of their ability to fire bullets and easy lead to levels filled with bullets and zombies.

As you , the player complete levels in the hierarchy, your performance is awarded in the form of some game money which in return helps you the upgrade the rifle, explosive barrels and the zombies themselves. Upgrades are very crucial as without them you’ll be unable to complete some of the levels. Hence, care should be taken by.

The new feature – touch control is easy to pick up as the player just needs to touch the zombie which is to be killed.

Although being an easy control it falters in crowded levels as sometimes other zombies become unintended target. Hence if my opinion is to be considered the traditional setup works fine where the left analog let you move the cursor while X will allow to fire once the cursor turns red on the target.

As mentioned above that the touch controls need some grilling and tightening, this game is still worth a play because of the aesthetic involved i.e. “think before you act”
