REVIEW : Time Patrol (PC)
With the Time Patrols, you can travel back in time and test your mettle by accomplishing challenging assignments in the past and present. The time machine will transport you and your trusty weapon to locations where only those with a keen eye and quick hands will be able to succeed.
In this fast-paced game, blast and fire your way through 40 various stages and challenges in four separate times, fighting your way up the highscore ladders. In a local hot seat mode, challenge your friends to compete. Who do you think is the most accurate shooter? Who is the quickest gunfighter? Who will come out on top? Time Patrol is a low-poly shooting game in which you must complete numerous tasks as rapidly as possible while dealing with limited ammo. You’ll be shooting apples, apples off people’s heads, and possibly even other fruits! (OK, there are bad men and bottles, but there isn’t much diversity.) If you stick to the “standard” mode, you should be able to finish this game in under 10 minutes, but if you want to create a score challenge out of it and try the harder difficulties, you should be able to get your money’s worth out of it. If there was ever a game that deserved a “okay” trophy, this is it.
