Trials Rising features variety of locations and 100s of track with leaderboards and number of difficulties to keep you hooked.

REVIEW : Trials Rising (PS4)

Trials looks more like modern age Excite bike and we love it for that. Excite bike was one of our favorite game growing up. Trials Rising is filled to the brim with content just to overcome the fact the previous games were lacking in that regard.

REVIEW : Trials Rising (PS4)

Trials Rising is a 2.5D racer with your primary goal being to reach of the end of the line in one piece. Since the game is highly physics based and features a quick restart button, it requires lot of practice to traverse the track perfectly.

REVIEW : Trials Rising (PS4)

The backdrop behind every track makes the whole setting feel grand and looks good at the same time.

The track, physics system and precise control make this quite an addictive game as restart is just a button away. Plus the heads up display precisely tells you how much gas, break and tilt, so it is easy to gauge where you made mistake.

REVIEW : Trials Rising (PS4)

The campaign features more than 100 tracks, plus the university provides you the opportunity to learn the basics. The tutorials are delivered in an incremental manner so the learning curve is pretty linear. Every track is a singular race with you racing against time and ghost of other live players. Ghost provide you an idea of how to tackle the track.

REVIEW : Trials Rising (PS4)

The game now has XP system (Just like every other Ubi game). You earn XP for completing a level, which results in leveling up and provides access to loot boxes and new bikes plus tracks. You now have sponsors to help you earn more XP and coins. Every Sponsor contract features certain criteria you need to fulfill to earn XP. The loot boxes just feature cosmetic stuff, so there is nothing to worry about there but they could easily have been part of gameplay as this is a decently priced game.

REVIEW : Trials Rising (PS4)

The game also features track editor which is very versatile and provides plenty of option plus you can browse other people creations and play them so that adds to the content. Plus, multiplayer has you playing against 7 other player which are ghost obviously. You are required to complete the race so that you can earn XP and coins. In Offline multiplayer you can play against 3 more players but you do not earn any XP or coins from it.

REVIEW : Trials Rising (PS4)

The background music and audio is just brilliant. The soundtrack totally fits extreme sport. Rock, hip hop, indie, electronic, you name it and it’s there. Soundtrack is complimented well with the graphics, everything from bikes, riders and tracks fits well into the overall aesthetics of the game.
