Indie developer Jenito Studios has revealed an all new Dev Walkthrough trailer for its upcoming action-horror adventure game Limerick: Cadence Mansion as part of the MIX Next showcase. Here you’ll get an all new look at solo developer Daniel Hall’s meticulously handcrafted Unreal Engine 5 powered horror game ahead of its release later this Fall on PC via Steam.
This Developer Walkthrough video introduces players to the game’s twisted setting, Cadence Mansion. It’s here where you’ll have to solve a series of puzzles, outwit evil creatures, and manage a host of limited resources – all while being stalked by the cursed marionette Limerick. As you dive deeper into a story of manipulation and dark science, you’ll have to get creative if you’re to survive this cerebral, terrifying immersive sim.
“With Limerick: Cadence Mansion I wanted to create an original take on the horror genre that takes inspiration from a lot of my favorite horror games and immersive worlds,” said solo dev Daniel Hall. “There’s the action, resource management and puzzles of Resident Evil, the deep worldbuilding of games like Prey and Bioshock, and the run-and-hide encounters of something like Alien: Isolation or Amnesia: The Dark Descent. My goal was for all these elements to come together to create something entirely unique.”
