Amazon Games New World Season 5 Available Now, Featuring Finale of the Main Storyline Quest, New Season Pass, Events and More
Today, Amazon Games has officially launched the fifth season of the hit MMO New World. In Season 5, Season of the Guardian, players can finally experience the long-awaited conclusion to the Main Storyline Quest and join several limited-time seasonal events, including Springtide Bloom and Rabbit’s Revenge. Players who own theRise of the Angry Earth expansion can also dig into an action-packed new Season Trial, several new artifacts, and other limited-time challenges to acquire exclusive cosmetics, consumables and other rewards.
New World players who own the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion can look forward to several exciting additions with the release of Season 5, including:
- New Season Trial: Season of the Guardian releases with an action-packed new Season Trial: Winter Rune Forge. Players skilled enough to complete the trial can join up to 10 max-level players and rally together to overcome Rune puzzles, slay an Icey Construct and more to receive exclusive rewards.
- New Artifacts: Eight new artifacts will be obtainable throughout Season of the Guardian to redefine your playstyle. Stun your enemies with the Poison Tipped Venom Spear, become invulnerable with the Phoenix Amulet and more.
All New World players can take part in new seasonal events and opportunities, including:
- New Season Pass: A new Season Journey releases alongside a new Activity Card, Challenges and rewards including cosmetics and consumables.
- Rabbit’s Revenge: The plague of rabbits has returned once again to New World and is more perilous than ever. Help cull the plague for unique event rewards and watch out for explosions as you hunt.
- Gamepad Support: Players who prefer to venture forth equipped with their favorite game controller in hand can look forward to the upcoming release of controller support for New World.
Additionally, players can soon return to Springtide Bloom! Starting April 10, the Time of Awakening arrives again, calling its children to share an ancient secret capable of granting true freedom. Players can help Bloom Herald unravel the mysteries of the ethereal Wispybloom and colour Springtide’s seasonal rewards.
