Atari Club Launches Limited-Edition “Fuji the 13th” Campaign with Clothing, Merch, Contests, and More

Atari rings in the spooky season today with the reveal of its “Fuji the 13th” collection from Atari Club. Coinciding with the launch of Haunted House, a new roguelite adventure based on the 1980s horror classic, the themed campaign includes a merch drop, a text-based adventure mini-game, and community contests.

The campaign runs from October 13th to October 31st and features designs from a collaboration with Brazilian pop-culture artist Butcher Billy, known for his work on Stranger ThingsMarvel Comics, and more. The merch collection includes t-shirts, a hoodie, a beanie, art posters, and an Atari Club patch adorned with Butcher Billy’s art. The Fuji the 13th patch is part of a new series of Atari Club patches. Going forward, every Atari Club collection will include a collectible patch available only during the drop window.

Butcher Billy’s Haunted House illustration was inspired by the main character from the original game, who was represented as a pair of eyes glowing in the dark. Butcher’s take on the eyes is featured on the Don’t Blink Beanie, and the Haunted House hoodie and poster. A very limited edition of 10 metal posters featuring Butcher’s artwork are available as part of the drop. Nine of the 16×20 lightweight aluminum posters are available for sale (United States only), and a tenth will be used as a contest prize.

Included in the campaign is a limited-time new text-based game titled Don’t Make Yourself at Home. Players who make it to the end of the adventure, which is filled with references to the original journey through Zahary Grave’s ghost-filled mansion, can enter to win items from the collection or a new Atari 2600+ game console
