Xuan Yuan Sword: The Gate of Firmament is originally developed by Softstar Entertainment Inc. and will be published by eastasiasoft for western digital release as well as physical release on PS5. Pre-orders open with Playasia this Thursday, February 22nd at 11:00am Hong Kong time (10:00am ET / 7:00am PT / 3:00pm UK). Limited Editions will include the game disc, manual, soundtrack CD and numbered certificate in a collector’s box. Standard copies will also be available as an open pre-order.

Long ago, the Jade Emperor opened the gates of heaven so that worthy mortals could appeal to him and be granted divine powers in order to aid in the search for the emperor’s lost daughter. However, this holy gift was exploited and abused, bringing chaos to the mortal realm. The gates of heaven had to be resealed to protect from greater disaster, but since then, no mortals have been able to ascend and no gods could ascend at will to help them.
