Delve into the ocean’s depths this Earth Day with E-line Media’s digital Q&A with the scientific advisers for Beyond Blue

E-Line Media, creators of BAFTA award-winning game Never Alone, is excited to be celebrating Earth Day tomorrow with an exclusive live digital event Ask The Ocean, a Q&A with ocean experts Dr. Mandy Joye, Dr. David Gruber and Anna Bakker; the scientific advisors who helped bring Beyond Blue to life.

Ask The Ocean will begin live on Wednesday 22nd April 2020 #EarthDay at 10am (PST) / 6pm (GMT) on Beyond Blue‘s YouTube Channel and will give members of the public the chance to put their ocean related questions to the panel.

E-line Media invites people to submit their questions to the team here saying: “While developing Beyond Blue, we had about a million questions for our scientific team about the ocean, and we thought you might have some too! So, here’s your chance to ask Mandy, David and Anna yourself!”

People watching are encouraged to submit their ocean questions to the scientific team and can join in on Twitter with the hashtag #AskTheOcean

About Beyond Blue
Set against the near-future backdrop of Earth’s oceans, Beyond Blue features the scientific support of real-world exploration and outreach initiative, OceanX, and embracing its minimally invasive exploration techniques. It tells the story of a crew of scientists – led by oceanographers Mirai and André – who set out to test their “Ocean Sense Network,” which has the power to literally shine a light on the unexplored depths of the ocean as they unravel its endless mysteries.

Focusing on the Western Pacific Ocean amid a large multispecies gathering of cetaceans and other creatures, players will step into the shoes (and flippers) of Mirai, as they use technology to better understand the urgent threats facing these blue depths. At the same time, Beyond Blue will feature never-before-seen footage licensed from BBC Studios’ Blue Planet II, expanding upon the game’s story and educating players about the social and emotional lives of these whales – the creatures with the biggest brains on the planet.
