Hitcents is pleased to announce the commencement of its second annual adventure games celebration, the Big Adventure Event 2022! Nearly two hundred games will be on hand during the four-day festival and fans will be able to try out 100+ demos from the announced games. This year’s event is special with an expanded, more inclusive “definition” of what adventure means in gaming. The goal is to make sure that every game developer coming to BAE 2022 gets proper notice for who they are, not who they know.
“We created the event for all indie devs, as a chance for devs big and small to participate and create some of their own opportunities for visibility. Releasing a game in 2022– indie or otherwise — is nothing short of difficult. Having a game be “successful” to whatever degree is even more difficult. This year’s event has big plans to outpace and eclipse last year’s wildly successful event that included over 300k visitors and that saw developers saying things like, “It was the best event I’d ever had for Steam wishlists.”
