Kinda Brave Entertainment and the Game Development World Championship (GDWC) join forces to provide an exceptional opportunity for young and ambitious indie developers worldwide. This year’s GDWC Summer Season opens the door for developers to apply for the Innovation Award, featuring a €2000 cash prize for the winning team. Additionally, teams looking for assistance to complete their projects can submit them to the Publisher Pipeline, seeking collaboration with Kinda Brave on a publisher-developer level.

The Innovation Award aims to support independent studios. Submissions open on January 29th and close on May 31st. All PC projects, whether still in development or self-published after May 31st, 2023, are eligible to enter the competition for free. Winners will be announced in late summer/early autumn 2024.

In addition to the award, a new pathway for getting games published has emerged. Micro Studios with 1 to 4 full-time developers, 6 to 12 months of production time left, and aiming for a PC and Steam release can now submit their projects to the Publishing Pipeline and request support from Kinda Brave.
