In Camper Van: Make it Home the players can camperize their own van and embark on a journey of personal discovery
The Spanish studio Malapata Studio, responsible for the videogame Camper Van: Make it Home, presents a new trailer for the launch of its Kickstarter campaign, that achieved the 15.000€ of required funding in less than 16 hours, surpassing today the 27.000€ mark with 25 days still left on the campaign.
| The videogame, which had more than 1.200 followers already on Kickstarter before launching, offers several reward packs, some of them with very limited unitsbecause a big part of the merchandise has beenhandmade, and other digital items are exclusive for backers of the campaign. All the objects have been designed and created with the utmost care and detail in order to offer a valuable experience to the players. From the hand embroidered journey album to the mat with an exclusive design from the game with a name embroidered by hand, postcards, stickers or the possibility to name the cat, the iguana or the van in the game.    Among the different goals of the campaign, now that it’s funded, is the Nintendo Switch port, the possibility to customize your van or the creative mode, among others that will be revealed as more goals are achieved. Camper Van: Make it Home is a relaxing videogame about camperizing vans and discovering a story through the objects, adventures and experiences of its protagonist. Inspired by the cozy experience of videogames like Unpacking, it will make players live through a journey of personal discovery. Its launch is expected during 2024 for PC on Steam, mobile platforms on App Store, Galaxy Store, App Gallery and Amazon Store, and consoles on Nintendo Switch. |
| About Camper Van: Make it Home In Camper Van: Make it Home players will be able to camperize their own van and will embark on a journey of personal discovery while creating a space as creative as it is useful for organizing all their belongings. The game allows gamers to delve into the story of its protagonist, who leaves behind her comfortable and monotonous life to dare to explore a more nomadic, natural and environmentally aware one. This title invites us to discover the experiences the main character goes through on each trip thanks to the objects she carries with her, the ones she collects, the ones that undergo changes, and the ones she leaves behind. The journey starts with a totally empty van in a charming destination. In the process of camperizing, it will be possible to add as much furniture as space allows. Once furnished, the goal will be to store and sort all the traveler’s belongings, which will be available in a pack list. Not only is it possible to decorate the space inside the van, but also the exterior is customizable.Once the process of camperizing and organizing is finished, it will be the time to move on to the next journey.
