Watch TTPRGs Come to Life With CartographR “Living Tabletop” App — Demo With the Developers
This week, we introduced CartographR — an augmented reality app for Pen n’ Paper/Tabletop RPGs that allows Game Masters to create immersive 3D environments for their players to explore as they play. We’d like to invite you to a live 30-minute demo with the creators where you’ll get a chance to see firsthand how it works — and smash some goblins while you’re at it!
While CartographR doesn’t replace the full TTRPG experience (you’ll still need to set up your character sheets, roll dice, and experience each game as it’s traditionally played), it eliminates the need for DMs to haul around models, figures, and scenery. GMs can create elaborate environments — from bustling marketplaces and castle ruins to enchanted caverns and mystical forests, and more — by simply dragging dropping virtual assets to create immersive augmented reality spaces for their players to delve into on their tablets and phones (with PC coming soon).
