Games Done Quick’s all-women event is raising money for Malala Fund
Games Done Quick is excited to announce that its all-women winter speedrunning event Frost Fatales 2023 starts this Sunday on Twitch. The fundraiser is organized by GDQ’s Frame Fatales, an all-women community for those who participate in and are interested in speedrunning, charity events, and gaming. Frost Fatales begins Sunday, February 26, kicking off a week of exciting runs that ends March 4.
Some of Frost Fatales 2023 highlights include:
- Stray (PC) — 100%, Unrestricted (passere)
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch) — 48 Tracks, 200cc No items (amber)
- Learn with Pokemon: Typing Adventure (DS) — Any% (Corvimae)
- Untitled Goose Game (PC) — Any%, Glitchless (Allison8Bit)

Frost Fatales 2023 is held in support of Malala Fund, a non-profit that works to secure free, safe, and quality education for girls around the world. Last year, Frame Fatales’ summer event Flame Fatales 2022 raised more than $137,000 for the charity.
Since 2010, Games Done Quick has partnered with some of the world’s most impactful charities, including AbleGamers, Doctors Without Borders, Organization for Autism Research, and Prevent Cancer Foundation, all while bringing people together to cheer on the best speedrunners and gamers in the world. To date, Games Done Quick events have raised more than $43.8 million in total for charity.
