Developer Jump Over the Age and indie publisher Fellow Traveller announced today that Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector will launch on Xbox Series X|S consoles and with Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and cloud on day one. The first Citizen Sleeper – a Game Pass favorite – will also be sticking around on the service.

In a video released today, Citizen Sleeper creator Gareth Damian Martin announced the news and revealed a world first exclusive: in-game footage of a brand new location called Hexport from Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector will take players to a new location and once again put them in the body of a Sleeper, an escaped corporate-owned android trying to build a new life for themselves. This time, however, players will have a ramshackle ship and a crew they’ve recruited, both of which they will need to steer through a system-wide crisis.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector expands upon the original Citizen Sleeper, continuing the wider narrative set up in the first game, and offering a larger area to explore. Citizen Sleeper 2 will offer the same acclaimed and award-winning dice-based Tabletop RPG-inspired gameplay, alongside all new systems and mechanics that will provide more depth, complexity and challenge.
Jump Over the Age will also continue to release the Helion Dispatches on a monthly basis, through to mid 2024.

Launched alongside the reveal of Citizen Sleeper 2, the Helion Dispatches are a series of text-based narrative transmissions from the refugee ship, the Pilgrim Seed, which flesh out the wider lore of Citizen Sleeper, set up the narrative for the sequel and bridge the gap between the two games.
