Dallas Fuel add 18-year-old rookie from Korea

In a series of roster moves from the Dallas Fuel, the team has announced the signing of 18-year-old rookie talent Min-seo “guriyo” Kang, pending league approval. Guriyo will join the team as their fourth DPS player for the 2022 Overwatch League season.

Joining BlossoM in Overwatch Contenders in 2020, guriyo made his semi-pro debut. From there he played with Talon Eaglet before joining Team Diamond in 2021. Having recently turned 18 he is now eligible to compete in the Overwatch League as he joins the Dallas Fuel. Guriyo has helped two teams qualify from Trials to the official Contenders league, in both 2020 and 2021. He will join Doha, SP9RK1E, and Edison in the DPS specialist role where he has shined on heroes like Widowmaker, Ashe, and McCree.

When asked about the signing of guriyo, RUSH, Head Coach of the Dallas Fuel shared his excitement for new talent, “Like ChiYo, we’re excited to have guriyo join the team and learn and grow with the team. Overwatch 2will bring lots of changes to the game and how team comps work so having another young player that can adapt to anything we need when the time comes is a good feeling.”

The Dallas Fuel roster grows to eight with the addition of guriyo who joins:

  • Dong-ha “Doha” Kim – DPS
  • Euiseok “Fearless” Lee – Tank
  • Hanbeen “Hanbin” Choi – Tank
  • Jun “Fielder” Kwon – Support
  • Yeonghan “SP9RK1E” Kim – DPS
  • Hyeonseok “ChiYo” Han – Support
  • Tae-hoon “Edison” Kim – DPS
