Summum Aeterna launches “Demons’ Mother”, an update full of new content
The Roguelite title developed by Aeternum Game Studios releases its first major update called “Demons’ Mother”, now available on Steam and packed with new content for Summum Aeterna.
Following in the footsteps of their roadmap, the dev team has just released the first of many updates to feed content into their newest project. “Demons’ Mother” is the name of its first major patch which adds many hours of fun to the adventures of the King of Darkness in Roguelite format. One of the great inclusions in this update is the Shrines of Idalith, rooms that serve as tributes to the Demons’ Mother. In addition to expanding the lore of the game, these rooms hide succulent rewards at a very high price… Surpass the Grim Horde! The acolytes of Idalith will protect the honour of her infernal lady to the last consequences. There are 3 mini-bosses currently available: Valatuk, Lord of War, Samnindas, Plague Bearer, and Ledasios, High Inquisitor, each one including a unique combat style.
The patch also adds two new NPCs, a test subject, and a merchant. Dummytama is a dummy that will allow players to test their unlocked weapons before heading out on adventures while encouraging us with motivational phrases. On the other hand, Rasen Lupine, the seller, will offer us seeds of different types and levels for a small price.
A new difficulty mode for bosses has also been added. This modality triples the speed of the combats and turns Dantius and Umehara into two killing machines. Thanks to Summum Aeterna’s unique seed system, players themselves will decide if they want to accept these new challenges.
The King of Darkness arsenal is expanded with the addition of 3 new weapons: “Jade Katana” (sword), “Mantis Claw” (scythe), and two taser guns, increasing the number of weapons available in Summum Aeterna to 24.
Besides these additions, more customization options have been integrated with new gems to improve our weapons, more improvement options in the character’s skill tree, and more world mods.
