Disco Elysium – The Final Cut Polish language version available now
ZA/UM has today released the Polish language version of Disco Elysium – The Final Cut.
ZA/UM provided aid to QLOC, who helped translate the open world RPG, with lots of documentation with additional information to better understand the game world of Disco Elysium, with a specialised tool to check dialogue flow, and uniquely, characters were split and translated individually, allowing for each character to sound different to one another. Translators were in constant communication with each other to provide useful tips and context to dialogue to ensure replies worked in conjunction.
Polish favourites can be found in the Polish language version, the first being the character Gorący Kubek, and the second being Polish-specific… and is a slight nod to beverage connoisseurs. The Pale was translated to closely relate to how the Pale looks, combining the words “grey” (“szarość”) and “entity” (“istota”) which reflects the nature of the phenomenon.
