Developers from Frozen Way studio based in Cracow, Poland, are pleased to share some updates regarding Honeycomb: The World Beyond – their upcoming sci-fi sandbox game set on an exuberant planet of Sota7.
The latest development log for the game has just been published on the Steam platform. It discusses primarily one of the game’s most important mechanics – crossbreeding.

In the published video the developer explains the complex principles behind the crossbreeding mechanic, as well as requirements and limitations that could affect the outcome of the experiment. All steps involved in crossbreeding two different plant species are demonstrated and explained in an easy-to-understand format, structured by a flowing narrative and striking shots. It’s important to note that, due to the extensive nature of the crossbreeding topic, the developers have decided to only focus on plant crossbreeding this time around, leaving out animal crossbreeding.
