Video game publisher Play on Worlds and independent developer Orbit Studio announces that Ebenezer and the Invisible World will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam today. Ebenezer and the Invisible World is a 2D Metroidvania game where players assume the role of Ebenezer Scrooge in a Charles Dickens-inspired Victorian-fantasy world. Scrooge teams up with spectral allies to save London from a wealthy industrialist and his Private Guard, each ghost offering unique abilities. Explore various regions of Victorian-era London, uncover the dark secrets of the Malthus family, and utilize the special skills of Movement Ghosts to navigate the world and confront an army of Unrepentant Ghosts tied to the return of the Dark Spirit. The game features engaging narratives, non-linear exploration, material collection for item and ability unlocks, and hidden areas, all presented through meticulously hand-drawn art and animations.
