Expanding the Mystery and Detective Experience Case Files: Behind Closed Doors Coming to Steam April 11th
From multi-award winning filmmaker, Ramon Hamilton, Case Files: Behind Closed Doors is the second installment in the Case Files Game Series from indie film and gaming company Think Ten Media Group.
This single-player FMV murder mystery, police interrogation, detective experience opens with one dead body and four suspects. Players must comb through evidence, review suspect interviews, spot contradictions, and discern truth from lies.
“In this new experience, we wanted to provide a more interactive style of gameplay,” explains developer Ramon Hamilton. “We took feedback from players of the first game and from beta testers on this new game and made significant improvements to the formula of what our interactive, immersive story experience could be. Mystery lovers and fans of true crime will find a great balance between realistic simulation and critical thinking tasks that truly place the player at the center of solving a homicide case.”
In this true crime style experience, players are provided with a variety of case file documents, including crime scene photos, text message records, and security camera footage, all of which will be needed to properly solve the mystery.
With five possible endings, Case Files: Behind Closed Doors offers players an expanded interactive experience and will scratch any player’s mystery solving itch.
