Games Done Quick returns with its annual all-women summer charity event, Flame Fatales, this Sunday, August 13. The week-long speedrunning marathon will take place online and broadcast on Games Done Quick’s Twitch channel, concluding on Sunday, August 20.
This year, Flame Fatales has another impressive lineup of games and speedrunners, including:
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch Bonus Game — Any%, KatyMay
- Final Fantasy X PC — CSR RNGFix Any%, Khaegar
- Octopath Traveler II PC — Any%, Sanjan

Flame Fatales 2023 is organized by GDQ’s all-women speedrunning community Frame Fatales and will be held in support of Malala Fund, a non-profit that works to secure free, safe, and quality education for girls around the world. Viewers will be able to directly support the charity by making donations on the Games Done Quick homepage. One hundred percent of all donations received during Flame Fatales 2023 will go to Malala Fund.
Since 2010, Games Done Quick has partnered with some of the world’s most impactful charities, including AbleGamers, Doctors Without Borders, Organization for Autism Research, and Prevent Cancer Foundation, all while bringing people together to cheer on the best speedrunners and gamers in the world. To date, Games Done Quick events have raised more than $46.2 million in total for charity.
