GDC 2018: Independent Games Publisher Playdius Reveals Lineup

ndependent games publisher Playdius is pleased to announce their presence at GDC 2018 in San Francisco, California from March 20 – March 23. The publisher will be offering hands-on opportunities to press with many of their upcoming titles, including first hands-on with Nintendo Switch versions of previously announced games Away: Journey to the Unexpected, Old School Musical and Hover.
Also included in their lineup will be PC versions of Dead in Vinland and Edge of Eternity.

Away: Journey to the Unexpected
[Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Windows PC / Q2 2018] – Away: Journey to the Unexpected is a colorful feel-good first-person shooter game that combines action, negotiation and slightly roguish elements, presented in a unique animated style along with a refreshing and funny story. Progress through the levels and the story, choose your path, but above all, recruit allies. All of the strange characters you meet in game can be played in first-person, and it’s up to you to find the right answers to get them to join your team!

Old School Musical

Dead in Vinland
[Windows PC / Q2 2018] – Dead in Vinland is a survival-management game with RPG and adventure elements from the creators of “Dead in Bermuda”. Exiled on an unknown island, take control and lead Eirik and his family to their survival. Manage their physical and mental health, explore the island, organize your camp, deal with other human beings and discover many esoteric mysteries all while using a tactical turn-based combat system.
