Generation Zero’s “Resistance” Update Out Now on PC & PS4
Systemic Reaction, a creative division of Avalanche Studios Group, has released the highly anticipated “Resistance”update for the first-person guerilla action game Generation Zero on PlayStation®4 and PC. Available to download now for free, “Resistance” includes the long-awaited introduction of base building and home base defense, plus all-new weapons and challenges. The update will release later this month on Xbox One
In the “Resistance” update, having a base means safeguarding it against enemies in wave-based home defense missions. Every successful resistance mission upgrades not only the command center, but also support equipment, experimental weapons and consumable crafting items like alternative health packs and ammo types. The team has also made extensive revamps to Generation Zero’s city region, adding more environmental storytelling through exploration, and updated the game’s challenge trees to reflect the addition of base building.
Today’s content drop also adds the new “Soviet Weapons Pack,” available now for $2.99, which gives players access to the Kotenok Sniper Rifle, AT-WAD Assault Rifle and RLG-7 Rocket Launcher.
