Greetings from the HoYoverse team! Today, we’d like to share two exciting news! First of all, Genshin Impact will launch Version 4.0 featuring its fifth major nation Fontaine on Aug 16. And to celebrate this massive expansion, Genshin Impact will be hosting its first official Game Art Exhibition for global audiences.

Features of Genshin Impact V4.0:
- • Introduction to Fontaine, the Nation of Justice and the hub of culture and art
- • Explore vast landscapes, and experience numerous World Quests and rich stories
- • Dive underwater in certain regions of Fontaine and discover lost areas and mysteries
- • Continuation of the main story with Archon Quests in Fontaine
- • Three new playable characters: Lyney, Lynette and Freminet
- • Two new bosses with unique attacks and movement
** Prerequisite to visit Fontaine: A Teleport Waypoint to the northeast of the Sumeru desert will be unlocked if completed Mondstadt’s Archon Quest Prologue Act III: “Song of the Dragon and Freedom. You can freely explore Fontaine, but Fontaine’s Archon Quest will only unlock if you have completed the last Archon Quest “Caribert” in Sumeru.
Meanwhile, the official Genshin Impact Game Art Exhibition “Endless Adventure in Teyvat: Fontaine Edition” will first premiere on August 19 in New York, Paris, Taipei, and Tokyo before it goes virtual online in 15 languages.
