Glyph does well on NEXT Fest

Glyph glides past the two million impressions mark with one day still to go, setting a download record on the new demo and booming the wishlist on Steam NEXT Fest.

Bolverk Games’ main title, Glyph, performed remarkably well during this years’ NEXT festival on Steam. Breaking all expectations, Glyph appeared in front of audiences a staggering 2 million+ times.

This, in turn, led the newly released demo to be downloaded faster than any other in the studios’ lifetime, as well as thousands of wishlist entries.

Argyck (twitch.tv) hosted the NEXT-talk on platformers and later took a run through the Glyph demo. Check out the excitement of him and the viewers commenting: Twitch.tv

At the peak of Glyph’s performance over the weekend (Tuesday’s numbers are not in yet), Glyph ranked in the top ten of most downloaded platform games and did well in an overall cross-genre comparison also.

The lovely audience at Steam NEXT Festival, took Bolverk Games and Glyph by storm!

During the festival, Bolverk Games did two live streams on the platform bringing together some 7.000 people and a stream in the Steam community hub. In the interim, the Glyph original soundtrack was bopping heads and looping the playlist.

Steam’s NEXT Festival arrangement, previously known as the Steam Game Festival, ends today, Tuesday. Its focus is promoting, discussing, and of course, playing demos of upcoming indie games.

The Glyph thumbnail was visible on several platformer front pages, such as
3D, Exploration, puzzlers, and precision.

About Glyph
Glyph’s gripping and addictive gameplay combines breathtaking aerial maneuvers with tranquil exploration in a 3D platforming experience that has no peers.

The end goal is to restore the ancient Temple City, overcome by the desert, which also functions as the game´s non-linear hub world.

  • 80+ levels in Exploration mode mean you’ll have to put serious effort into the game before you’ve seen it all.
  • 30 blazing hot levels put your skills to the test in Time Trial mode.
  • 100+ secrets and upgrades are all part of the game from the beginning. With Glyph, you won’t have to pay for extra skins or cool unlocks.
  • A wicked mean final boss…

Glyph appeals to both chill-out players and speedrunners as the open-world allows creative ways to move through the many levels available with the release.
